The Aspinwall Community Garden began in 2022 and has 22 individual 4 ft. x 8 ft. plots. The land is owned by a local resident who allows this public community garden to thrive on his property. He is also a volunteer in the garden. These plots are available for seasonal rental of $20 and open to everyone. The plots use the no-till method of gardening and are planted with a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers including milk weed from Beechwood Farms and many native pollinators. Extra produce is shared with the community and Second Harvest.
Our Fox Chapel Garden Club in 2024-25 gifted monies towards the purchase of garden supplies and upgrades to this special garden.
