The Blawnox Community Garden shares all produce grown with the community. A small dedicated group of volunteers maintain and nurture the garden throughout the year. The garden partners with The Best of Blawnox for support and organization. Produce is distributed to the Food Pantry at the Blawnox Borough building, a local Blawnox senior hi-rise, and is delivered to local neighbors unable to come to the garden for fresh produce. The garden partners with Grow Pittsburgh to support its efforts. Water is supplied by Blawnox Borough. The garden is fenced to protect it from deer.
In 2024-25 FCGC gifted towards soil improvement and a much needed work bench.
