Mary’s Garden was created in 1999 under the direction of Ron Frank, an art teacher at Fox Chapel Area High School. With his love of gardening and his devotion to his students, this garden was born. The garden initially was planted by several of our Fox Chapel Garden Club members with plants from their own gardens. We gift to support the materials and plantings needed for this garden annually. Mr. Frank involves current students in the photographing, environmental education, and annual maintenance of this garden. It is a place for students in all classes to gain an appreciation of the natural world, and where the entire community can enjoy a pretty and peaceful pause.
